At this year’s Milano Design Week, Lago presented a curved, mosaic tile, bathroom sink, called Skin. This piece seems to act as the wall’s skin and peels off of it to form the curved sink basin. Very unique and dramatic idea. Think of what your guests would say if you had this in your guest bathroom! The sink appears weightless in its design and is available in different color schemes. We had to share this modern and ultra stylish idea with hopes of inspiring creative ideas for unique bathroom designs. Visit Lago to see more of their amazing products.

Mosaic tiles are not just for walls or floors, but also really cool for bathtubs, as MosaicSweden has demonstrated here. This claw foot mosaic bathtub is sure to turn some heads. Mosaic tiles are simply awe-inspiring because they allow for such diverse design expression. You can be as extreme or subtle as you like with the outcome. Plus, there’s something mesmerizing about all those tiny tiles side by side; creating a totally different effect when you stand back, as compared to up close. We like that MosaicSweden boldly splatters a bathtub with mosaics, turning a regular claw foot tub into a fresh, contemporary beauty. Visit MosaicSweden to learn more.

Bowling alleys are right up there with curling rinks on the list of the most unlikely milieus for anything chic. Yet, at The Spare Room, on the mezzanine level of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, both bowling and the bowling oxfords custom-designed for the newly opened lounge by George Esquivel are now decidedly in.
